I watched The Great, and sometimes I think she's good, and sometimes I think she seems like a 12 year old playing dress up/too old.

i wouldn't call versatility one of her strengths but she's capable of good work. i really liked her in Ginger and Rosa

No not really. Weirdly, I think her voice holds her back - she always comes across as an average American teenager. I also think she lacks depth. I don't even hate her or anything, but I don't think she fits into some of the roles people try to cast her in, like Mary Shelley for example.

She only ever gets cast in anything because she's tall and pretty. I agree that she doesn't really fit into some of the roles she's been playing. With the exception of the great, I generally think her delivery is flat when it comes to her acting.
