+ Bob Chapek assured shareholders that Kathleen Kennedy will remain as head of LucasFilm on an stockholder’s call on Tuesday. He also addressed accusations of political partisanship after Gina Carano got herself fired from The Mandalorian.

Some dipshit claiming Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano's comments as similar and basically saying there's a new black list against conservatives in Hollywood. Bob Chapek sidestepping it well.

Chapek replied their decisions aren't based on political leanings, but about MORAL integrity and how they want to see diversity expanded to reflect the real world. Still plenty of work to go for that, but honestly, it's a response we wouldn't have heard even a couple years ago.

+ “I don't really see Disney as characterizing itself as left-leaning or right-leaning, yet instead of standing for values, values that are universal, values of respect, values of decency, values of integrity and values of inclusion and we seek to have the content that we make reflective of the rich diversity of the world we live in. And I think that’s a world we should all live in harmony and peace.” - Bob Chapek

Asked whether KK will be replaced by Filoni or Favreau: "We've been absolutely thrilled that we can have the kind of talent like Kathy Kennedy to direct Lucasfilm... We look forward to having Kathleen Kennedy running the Lucasfilm organization for many years to come."

Chapek is straight-up asked "Will you fire Kathleen Kennedy?" and the person started the question with "Greetings and salutations..." Beyond parody. 🤓 $DIS

Imagine spending at least $200 to be a "shareholder" in order to ask about a YouTube conspiracy just to get slapped down by Chapek. https://t.co/TYBiGzn1XZ
