lmfao is this a joke? she's not even one tenth of a fraction as famous as Britney. She will never even begin to understand the insane crowds of paparazzi that followed her everywhere.

They're really trying to "all celebrities matter" this Britney moment, like I can't.

She's not saying her experience is the exact same as Britney's, just that it's stressful to have paps on her when she goes out and how it must've been worse for Britney because there was no limits to what the paps could do to get their picture.

Yeah I was about to say the title is a bit misleading as to what she actually said.

You know what's a good way to keep the paps away from you?

STAYING IN ONE PLACE DURING A PANDEMIC.

While I understand that it is uncomfortable and creepy for even just one paparazzi to stalk someone and take photos of their every move, I highly doubt we will ever see a celebrity get the hoards of men taking photos like Britney did. The act itself is horrifying and should be outlawed but good sis, you have NO idea.

I think that era has thankfully died with the rise of social media which can be equally damning but in a different way.

Now celeb harassment comes from individual twitter users and hashtags.

yeah random candids of a celebrity out living their lives just aren't valuable if the celebrity is already sharing pictures of their lives themselves

not unless paparazzi actually catch something scandalous, which is so unlikely that it isn't really worth it for them to try. it's easier for random citizens to catch them with the cameras on the phones - now ubiquitous, which again makes paparazzi obsolete

I was literally about to comment how my gut reaction was to defend Britney, but then Dua didn't say anything bad about her. She told the truth.
