John Mayer joins TikTok... and Swifties are not happy

Between 2009-2010, there were rumors that John Mayer and Taylor Swift briefly dated. They are 12 years apart, and in late 2010, Swift released her song "Dear John," which many fans suspect is about Mayer.

On Monday, the 43-year-old joined TikTok and couldn't figure out how to flip the camera to selfie mode:

Swift's fans proceeded to flood the comments with her song lyrics and criticism. One fan added, "Taylor would know how to flip the camera."
