I don’t know about recently but when it started ramping up again a few years ago, both Simon Pegg and Louis Theroux publicly supported him.

So yeah, fuck those guys forever. I was particularly bitter about Louis - I’d loved him so much until that point.

I can’t for the life of me find the Louis one - I distinctly remember he did say something in support of Allen because I was really mad about it for ages after (and still am when I think about him), but I reckon it must have been a tweet that he has since deleted.

Yep I remember this because like you I was a huge fan of Louis Theroux and this really disappointed me at the time.
