Oh look, another drag race spinoff that absolutely no one asked for and will probably get canceled immediately like Secret Celebrity Drag Race, Drag U, AJ and the Queen, Gay for Play Game Show Starring RuPaul, RuPaul's talk show, and that stupid Christmas special.

They should have just done a regular All Stars but with an international cast like originally rumoured.

i mean i wouldn't call it a spinoff, it's just the regular all stars that they've been doing. last year they tried to move it to showtime but changed their minds when covid happened. i wouldn't put it in the same category as the other stuff on your list.

I think the rumour for an international cast. (or an all winners season) of All Stars was started after they already filmed All Stars 6.

IMO they are kinda of running out of all stars who actually want to put themselves through it again. I mean there's a reason why they got [Spoiler (click to open)]Ginger Minj back again for AS6

I don't know if it's 100% official but that's what reddit claims and they are usually pretty accurate about the cast list. They seem to already know the elimination order but except for the cast I don't look at spoilers because I want to be a little surprised.

IA all stars should at the very least be once every 2 years so it's more "special". I think a lot of times queens say no or want to wait until another season so there are always alternate queens who aren't really All Stars but are willing to be on the show again with short notice. They also cast queens if they know there is some drama so Farrah Moan probably got cast because there was IRL drama between her and Gia Gunn. I think Blair St Clair was an alternate queen as well. She supposedly replaced Asia O'Hara.

i feel like every season brings a couple of new strong potential all stars (crystal, gigi, jackie, rock, from 12 and a bunch from the current season)

but they really should do 1 season every 2 years and/or bring in the intl girls yea
