plus you’re rich, surely you can HIRE teachers with tutoring qualifications who are equipped to handle these types of situation better than a teen might??
I tutored a few kids for a little stint. I realized how underequipped I was for some of their needs. But also, how much of a privilege it was for parents to be able to afford a tutor. I never had anything like that growing up, and it could've had a huge impact on my successes/failures.
So on one hand, I do think educators should be the ones tutoring, but classroom teachers are already overworked and underpaid as it is. The teacher really needs to be paid worth their time to tutor, but if that's the case, it really widens the gap between the haves and the have-nots....
Yeah, the main reason that universities are often still reserved for the richer classes is because they can afford a ton of help. And, in some cases, get the tutor to take tests for them.
Because teens are self harming at extremely high numbers and the govt is ignoring it. I'm glad he mentioned it though I hope he had consent from his son.

The teenagers he's mentioned are the ones he "rented" to homeschool his kids.
One of his sons self-harmed in front of the teenage tutors.
