FKA Twigs did a sit-down interview with Gayle King to discuss her civil lawsuit against former boyfriend Shia LaBeouf, who she is accusing of sexual battery, emotional distress and assault.
Gayle at one point asks the singer why she didn't leave the relationship, to which Twigs responds, “I’m not going to answer that question anymore because the question should really be to the abuser, why are you holding someone hostage?”
She also responds to LaBeouf denying the allegations despite initially issuing a public apology.
“It reminds me of some of the gaslighting I experienced when I was with him. This taking some of the blame, but not all of it, and then denying it.”
