ONTD Original: The Philandering Men of Bollywood
OP has been having fun making some Bollywood posts on ONTD so OP thought might as well make an original with juicy gossip post that's fun to read whether you care about or watch BW or not.
Also an excuse to trash on asshole cheating men is always fun
1. Akshay Kumar
Probably the biggest philanderer and man-whore in Bollywood. There could probably be multiple posts made up about of all of Akshay's affairs.
However, the most scandalous ones are when he was engaged to THREE different actresses (Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty and Twinkle Khanna) at the same time. and his affair with Priyanka Chopra.
Akshay is still married to his wife Twinkle and is still known to be cheating on her.
The Akshay Kumar/Raveena Tandon/Shilpa Shetty/Twinkle Khanna scandal (1994-2001)
Raveena Tandon revealed that Akshay had not only been cheating on her but had also been engaged to Shilpa Shetty and Twinkle Khanna at the same time as her:
In an interview with Stardust magazine in 1999, Raveena revealed that Akshay had promised to marry her after he finished shooting for one of his films. Raveena that Kumar was hesitant to marry her in fear of alienating his female fan base, but she reveals that they did, however, get secretly engaged in a temple. She then dropped a bombshell when she divulged that Kumar was cheating on her, and was also simultaneously engaged to two other women at the time. It is speculated that the other two women were Shilpa Shetty and Twinkle Khanna.
This is what Shilpa Shetty said about Akshay cheating on her with Twinkle:
"I never imagined that he could two-time me, and that too all along our relationship," she said. Shilpa maintained that she holds no grudges against Twinkle and said, "No, I'm not at all upset with her. What's her fault if my man was cheating on me? There is no point blaming any other woman, it was entirely his fault."
She rued, "Akshay Kumar used me and conveniently dropped me after he found someone else. The only person, I was upset with, was him. But I'm sure he'll get it all back. It's not easy to forget the past so soon, but I'm glad I've had the strength to move on. Today, he's a forgotten chapter as far as I'm concerned. I will never work with him again."
His now wife Twinkle said that she had only ever wanted to have a fling with Akshay:
"And there he was, six feet of chocolate ice-cream. So I decided, I am going to have a fling with him and it's going to last 15 days," Twinkle said.
Despite knowing all about Akshay's character and his cheating philandering disloyal ways, Twinkle did end up marrying him. Akshay and Twinkle got married in 2001 and are still currently married.
Affair with Priyanka Chopra Jonas (2003-2004)
From 2003-2004, Priyanka and Akshay filmed 4 movies together: Andaaz, Aitraaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and Waqt: The Race Against Time. The two had an affair. Akshay had an 8-month old baby at home at the time. There were eyewitness accounts that when Twinkle found out about the affair, she slapped Akshay in the hotel lobby after confronting him and left their home with the baby. Twinkle banned Akshay from working with Priyanka ever again and Akshay obliged. The two have not worked with each other since then.
It was also Priyanka's own ex-manager that exposed the affair for real. After Priyanka fired him, as revenge he aired out all of Priyanka's phone records-which included countless calls to Akshay and confirmed their affair.
2. Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan married Sussane Khan in December. 2000. The couple got divorced in November, 2014. During their 14 year marriage, Hrithik cheated on Sussane with at least 3 different women-all of them being costars he worked with in movies. Sussanne forgave him many times but the 3rd time was the straw that broke the camel's back. Sussanne also ended up cheating on Hrithik and having her own affair with Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal which probably also contributed to the couple's divorce.
Affair with Kareena Kapoor Khan (2001-2003)
Hrithik and Kareena did many movies together from 2001-2003. Their onscreen chemistry was hugely loved and their pairing in the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is one of the most beloved Bollywood movie ships of all time. There were lots of rumors at the time that these two were more than just costars and friends.
Then the editor and writer of a popular Bollywood publication Stardust claimed to have personal knowledge about Hrithik and Kareena having an affair. The editor had apparently witnessed Hrithik and Kareena making out in a plane. Both Hrithik and Kareena denied the affair and even threatened to sue Stardust magazine but the magazine refused to retract the story. However, in 2003 Kareena gave an interview on how painful it feels to be in a secret relationship.
Film Journalists did not shy away from speaking about the affair-it was an apparent open secret.
After 2003, Hrithik and Kareena stopped working with each other and have not worked with each other since. Despite both of them still being A-list actors and very much in demand. They haven't been seen publicly interacting with each other since these 2 decades either.
Affair with Barbara Mori (2010)
When filming for his 2010 movie "Kites", there were many credible rumors about Hrithik hooking up with his costar and Mexican actress Barbara Mori. Hrithik would give Barbara expensive gifts. He gifted her a lavish vanity van on set that cost around $275,000. Hirthik's wife Sussanne was reportedly so upset about Hrithik's cheating that she left their house and went to live with her parents.
Affair with Kangana Ranaut (2012-2013ish)
The Hrithik/Kangana affair and its aftermath is one of the messiest ever as Hirthik and Kangana ended up publicly fighting over it. The rumors of Hrithik and Kangana having an affair started in 2013 during the filming of Krrish 3. And then only got excaberated when Sussanne/Hrithik announced their divorce that same year.
In 2016, Kangana herself confirmed the affair by calling Hrithik her "ex". Hrithik had Kangana fired from a movie, and when Kangana was asked about it, Her response was:
"Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds; even a dumbass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don't know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me, that chapter is over and I don't dig graves."
Hrithik reacted strongly on Twitter, and tweeted about how he would rather date the Pope than any of 'the women the media has been naming'.
He went onto say:
"I feel my need to please my co-actors might have led her on in some way. She would send me videos of some feat that she achieved, like during the training for the film, and I would use complimentary words and smiley faces. I don't know if that led to her believing this," Hrithik said.
Kangana lashed back with a 21 page response lmao, and a lot of shit happened. That he had proposed to her in Paris, and that he wanted to be with her and marry her but didn't want to go public with it because he was still married to Sussanne at that time. Hrithik kept denying it.
Then in 2016, Kangana's PR leaked this "intimate" pic of Hrithik/Kangana at some party back in 2013 as "proof" of the affair. Hrithik said the picture was cropped blah blah and Sussane even came to his support. Sis is also an islamophobe, batshit right winger so she's messed up all around.
Whether the affair happened or not, this was an abusive/toxic relationship. Kangana sent more than 1000 harassing emails to Hrithik, stalked him/harrassed him. Honestly this drama is so messy it could be broken down in several posts. Point is that both are trashy, but Kangana is at a different level with harassment and stalking.
3. Arjun Rampal
Affair with Hrithik Roshan's wife Susanne Khan (2013-2014/2015)
Tbh Arjun is only included in this post because he cheated on his wife Mehr and had an affair with Hrithik's wife Sussane. OP thinks its dissappointing that Sussane would have an affair with a married man after being cheated on by her husband so many times herself but oh well lol. Arjun and his wife did end up getting divorced and his affair with Sussanne was reportedly the reason why.
Arjun is now dating model Gabrielle Demeteridas. The couple have a 1-year old son together.
4. Shah Rukh Khan
Arguably the most successful and loved Bollywood actor of all time, Shah Rukh Khan is known as "King Khan" and "King of Bollywood". He has been married to his wife Gauri Khan since 1991. The couple have been together even before SRK got famous. SRK and Gauri were just a regular couple who were in love until he decided to try acting and ended up becoming a superstar. They are known as "power couple" and "couple goals" because of their wealth, success and beautiful looking family.
However, his affair with Priyanka Chopra Jonas is one of Bollywood's biggest and most talked about scandals. OP has already sort of covered it in an earlier Priyanka post but honestly you can't make a post about Bollywood affairs and ignore this one lol. So this post will cover informationthat wasn't covered before.
Affair with Priyanka Chopra Jonas (2011-2017)
Priyanka and SRK didn't allegedly start hooking up till 2011. However the makings of their affair can be seen as early as 2000. SRK was a judge of the Miss India paegant and when it was time to ask Priyanka his question. He flirted with her relentlessly.

It is ironic that its Karan Johar that was the one teasing Priyanka about her attraction to SRK. As he's actually BFFS with Gauri. And teamed up with Gauri in order to blacklist Priyanka from several movies.
Priyanka at that time retaliated back through her PR esentially blaming Gauri for her husband's inability to keep it in his pants lol?
“Priyanka has done nothing wrong. If these women are insecure about their relationships with their husbands, they should sort it out with them, at home".
Pissed on behalf of his best friend, Karan promptly dragged Priyanka with this tweet.

Anyways, Karan Johar and Gauri Khan's attempts to destroy Priyanka's career didn't truly work. They could blacklist her from working with SRK and their production companies but not with others as SRK took Priyanka's side. So Priyanka did continue on to get some good roles. Karan and SRK did have a fallout with their friendship (but have made up now).
And Priyanka/SRK continued to have a relationship till 2017. This post here has more depth about their relationship including Priyanka's confirmation of it. OP is a lazy ass bitch and just wanted to cover some extra drama in regards to this that hadn't been posted before.

Affair with Kanika Kapoor (2014)
In 2014, SRK and Priyanka reportedly were on a break (the two were on and off during their 6 year relationship) and SRK hooked up with British Indian singer Kanika Kapoor. He was so smitten by her that he got her the gig of singing the song "Lovely" in his movie "Happy New Year". He also bought her expensive gifts such as exotic Birkin bags (lmao) .
The two were seen cozying up at parties.
SRK and Gauri are still together, always posing with each other at parties and events.
Before moving onto the next one..can OP just say that this was the messiest friend group ever ?? All of these people were screwing each other and having affairs besides SRK and Arjun's wife.
5. Ranbir Kapoor
Part of the powerful and wealthy Kapoor family of Bollywood which undoubtedly makes him appeal to a lot of actresses and women in the industry, Ranbir Kapoor is known as the "Casanova of Bollywood". Ranbir is a self-admitted womanizer and cheated on actresses Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. He is currently engaged to actress Alia Bhatt.
1. Ranbir and Deepika Padukone (2008-2010)
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone dated from 2008-2010. The relationship ended because Ranbir cheated on Deepika with Katrina Kaif.
Deepika then went onto shade Ranbir by saying that he should endorse condoms on Karan Johar's show lol.
"During the conversation on Karan's show, Karan asked Deepika, what would she like to gift Ranbir and she had said, "I would like to gift a pack of condoms to Ranbir because he uses them too much." Post which, Karan had asked Deepika for one advice that she would like to give to Ranbir and she had stated, "Endorse a condom brand."
2. Ranbir and Katrina Kaif (2010-2016)
Ranbir and Katrina went onto date for 6 years, from 2010-2016. The couple reportedly broke up because Ranbir's family didn't like Katrina and because Ranbir was unfaithful towards Katrina.
Katrina went onto give an interview to GQ which seemed to confirm those reports.
Katrina said this in an interview when asked about her break-up with Ranbir in an interview:
"See men and women, they're different. Women give birth to babies, men don't. We can't say 'oh equality on all levels, we're all the same. No, our biological needs and bodies are different. Men have been the hunters and the philanderers. Being with an actor has its own set of issues, but the basic differences arise because men are men. Cheaters will cheat anywhere,"
3. Currently dating actress Alia Bhatt
Ranbir is currently dating/engaged to actress Alia Bhatt. Alia has said before that sexual infidelity isn't a dealbreaker for her in a relationship that "emotional infidelity" is. So maybe Ranbir has found the perfect partner for himself!
