i actually just watched three of her short films, literally this morning on the criterion channel - "four women" (i see ur song choice, OP <3), the above "illusions", and "praise house".... what a visionary! looking forward to watching her feature films and more.... truly fantastic post, OP, thank you :)

I never realized Love Song was one of her films. I miss MTV's tv movies. I still listen to the Carmen Hip Hopera and 2gether soundtracks occasionally ngl.
