February 15, 2021 * Alexandre Dumas’ classic is being adapted into two feature-length films, The Three Musketeers-D’Artagnan and The Three Musketeers-Milady, both of which will be directed by Martin Bourboulon;
* Both films will shoot in France this summer. Cassel (Westworld) plays Athos; Green (Penny Dreadful) plays Milady; François Civil plays D’Artagnan, and the classic musketeers are rounded out by Pio Marmaï as Porthos and Romain Duris as Aramis. The scripts by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière are based on Dumas’ novel, but also include a new character based on France’s first Black musketeer.
