my cat is a sweet old lady who does nothing but sleep now but 10 years ago??? absolutely the same as this video. the running across the top of the headboard was especially fun for both of us 😅

I just realized it's been a few years since the last time I turned away from doing the dishes to find my cat on top of the kitchen door. She's getting old! 😢

(the other cat has never been able to jump, so I'm probably not going to have any sudden realizations about her age)

my cat pretty much just sleeps through the night actually. the worst thing she does is announce herself if she has decided to change her sleeping spot and wants to sleep in the bed now. she always has to scratch the side of the bed before she jumps in and it is sooooo annoying. she also does not allow doors to be closed in the house but we learned our lesson about that a long time ago.

I just wrote a long reply about the annoying behaviors of each of my cats and decided not to post it because they have so, so many. not all the time, and not all at once, but each is especially obnoxious in its own ways several times a day/week.

why did we get a covid kitten...why did I think that if something happened to one of my two, the other would be sad...cats aren't pack animals.

I think it depends on how friendly the cats are to each other.

ok, so the two elders are from the same litter. boy and girl. the kitty is a girl. there is a circle of hierarchy between the three. the elder girl bosses the kitten, the kitten bosses the elder boy, and the elder boy bosses the elder girl. they all get along fine tbh, but the kitty is definitely miss independent and not content to just snuggle all day. maybe she'll be different when she's older and less of a baby. I honestly don't remember how my twins were when they were bbs. I feel like a mother who had an accidental child way too late in life. I don't have the energy for #momlife #kittenlife I have come to realize.

My favorite part is where the cat is knocking stuff of of the nightstand, looks over to see if that wakes up the people, then knocks more stuff off.
