Nicki Minaj's father killed in hit-and-run accident
Nicki Minaj's father, Robert Maraj, has died after being struck in a hit-and-run accident on Friday evening. He was 64 years old.
According to Nassau County Police in New York, Maraj was hit by a vehicle which subsequently fled "without a meaningful description" from witnesses. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
The area's Homicide Squad is investigating the case and encouraging anyone with identifying information about the driver to come forward.
