Do we really need to know also what Whedon thinks or has to say? He has said and done enough. He doesn't owe us shit, (if anything, we are owed time back for the shit he has subjected us to), no apology is ever going to ring true and if he hasn't privately reached out to make amends to the people he's hurt, he's never going to do anything that can truly help the people he hurt heal. The best thing this SOB can do is disappear into the ether and never to be heard from again.

Anthony Head's response remains to be the most empathetic one of the bunch and even that wasn't the greatest.
The most I can hope for is that the scum out there will think twice before they pull some kind of stupid shit. But even that is kind of futile since abusers are also very arrogant in thinking it will never happen to them. Their time will never come.

Sorry to hear you're going through something hard. I myself recently had to deal with someone who wasn't what I thought they were, and it's really jarring to deal with because this isn't how you've seen them at all. But it isn't on you per se. People make their own choices and honestly, like Anthony has shown, people can be very aware of who they can act up with versus who they can't.
