In today's "Why Is Hollywood???" news, Paramount has chosen Adam Wingard to helm their so-called re-imagining of John Woo's preposterous 90's action masterpiece Face/Off, starring Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. Wingard and writing partner Simon Barrett are making it a sequel to the original instead of a remake as initially announced. Reportedly the lead roles will be recast, which makes about as much sense as the plot of the original movie.
