other than the residuals, why... would you regret it? he's still a bigger name than Radnor is now.

Its funny because I watched HIMYM the entire run and never saw American Pie and yet Biggs is still a more recognizable name to me.

I actually think the show is ONLY popular with people under the age of 25! I used to teach teens in the capacity of my job a few years ago (they would be in their late teens/early 20s now) and I was shocked by how many of them were fans of shows like HIMYM, Grey's Anatomy (I didn't even know that was still on the air??), etc. smh we live in the time of peak TV where there are so many innovative and provocative shows that are so easy to stream, but gen Z only watches the blandest stuff

I don't think American Pie series had that big of a cultural impact.

HIMYM had a big cultural impact because it had one of the worst series endings of all time.

American Pie def had a huge cultural impact in the US but it's more of a time capsule thing

Lost. It was appointment tv. Fans bonded over watching it at the same time, solving clues on message boards, etc. Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse said they wouldn't take a lazy route (ie not death or a dream) for an explanation. Which they did anyway. A real slap to Lost fans imo
