I think Circus is my favorite tbh. I have really fond memories of listening to that particular song while walking to class feeling like such a badass bc Britney’s music gave me confidence I don’t have elsewhere.

I I have a whole playlist of her stuff entirely dedicated to running tho and it’s got all the energetic bops- except it’s somehow missing Gimme More? Gotta fix that. (It ends w/ Stronger bc I am That Person)

I've said it before but Gimmie More has aged like fine wine, it was so ahead of it's time.

Every time I hear it I just get into a certain mood. I have to agree it's her best lead single.

It was just so left field for her. The Scammy's really paid her recent output dust.

I've said this many times but I'll always prefer post-2007 Britney music

Same re Gimme More! In general, Blackout really was ahead of its time and so influential. I remember how different the album sounded at the time, then three or so years later music on the radio started to sound more like it (Like A G6 for example always sounded so similar to Piece of Me)

Absolutely. She was one of the main artists that ushered in the electronic/rnb hybrid that's so prominent today. And she was EP of that album which shows she has a good eye for producers
