February 7, 2021 Following the premiere of the Hulu/FX documentary "Framing Britney Spears" which gave the general public an all-encompassing look into the many trials and tribulations of the iconic artist, ranging from the sexist treatment she received from the media at the start of her career to her infamous conservatorship which she remains under, many celebs are now speaking out in support of Britney and adding their voices to the growing chorus of #FreeBritney.

February 7, 2021 This Britney Spears doc is truly heartbreaking. She was so pure and good and the world ripped her apart.

February 7, 2021 Ed McMahon asking tiny little Britney Spears if she has a boyfriend is repulsive in so many ways. She says no because “they’re mean.” And then he says “what about me?” Barf. The way so many people talk to girls is just WRONG.

February 6, 2021 One of my biggest accomplishments in life is having co-written a song for Britney... like for me, it doesn’t get better than that. It’s literally a dream come true. She means so much to me. She means so much to so many people. Free Britney forever.

February 8, 2021 Y’all..it’s plaguing me that nobody knows if
@britneyspears is truly okay. Really hoping that if she isn’t she can formally vocalize it in some way and that she knows all of us on the outside really give a shit about her well-being. 😢

February 8, 2021 I also have a few questions about the judge’s presiding over her case. Removing Adam Streisand as her counsel due to a “medical report” that the judge wouldn’t allow him so see is suspect to me. What stake does the judge have in keeping her in this conservatorship? 👀
- Shea Couleé (@SheaCoulee)
February 8, 2021 Well, I watched the Britney doc and unfortunately my takeaway is that our entire society is a humiliating, violently misogynist failure and I'm ashamed of a media culture that, for decades, villainized her for money and sport, conditioning us to think it was funny.
