Given that the Armie Hammer new hasn't dropped yet I've decided it just isn't going to.

I also was arguing with people in comments on tiktoks about the situation and then I questioned wtf I was doing and deleted my comments and blocked the people. I know I won't change their minds so why am I trying?

It seems like it's being swept under the rug, many of the journalists who alluded to it on twitter are deleting their tweets. I wonder what's going on. :/

I mean, they jumped the gun putting that out there when it seemed like they had nothing to back it up, sounded like they were hoping that by the time they had to there would be something credible.

I've felt a lot better since I decided I wouldn't engage in bad faith arguments online. Part of me is itching for it, but I have to remind myself that most people simply don't want to learn or grow. The people who do are already listening

Yes! like These people just shut me down despite the fact there was no evidence in either direction and I just realized there's no point. I'm going to try to just not argue online. I feel like shit when I do it.

I did get into it with a teen on TikTok over the MM accusations but that felt more worth it because the youths are more receptive to learning in my experience

I really don't like the tone on Twitter and IG about the rumoured Armie Hammer news. It's not an album waiting to "drop" it's potentially very serious, and all the jokes are insensitive imo.

It's horrendous what he has already done and certain people seem to be desperate for him to do even worse. It's weird.

I totally agree with you! I didn't know how else to phrase it since they're all saying drop but if it's about murder then like we need to not. Although I don't think it would be because that's not how police investigations work, they don't wait for a specific time to release their report and if it's an investigation where no names have been released then speculating doesn't help and if what the situation is is what has already been released then people need to stop making his victims feel like they're less because you want him to have done worse.

I have a lot of feelings about this and I'm just very tired of people talking about victimization and crime like it's a true crime show and not a very real thing.
