All That was the blueprint for a bunch of up-and-coming child actors. Many of the stars ended up starring in their own series and/or have found success after the show. The show is currently in it's 11 season on Nickelodeon with a brand new cast. The newest iteration has brought back many of their original cast members as Guest Stars and both Kenan

I do sort of remain forever surprised that Kenan Thompson became the longest-running cast member of SNL. Which, I'll be honest and say I don't watch so I don't actually know how good he is or isn't on it, I'm not saying anything about his talent, it's just wild to me that most of these people are not successful at all and he's over there killing it.

I am also surprised at how little per episode SNL cast members make.

I'm surprised he hasnt been in more theatrical films like other SNL cast members/alumni.

he might like the easy schedule of doing SNL. its good money and he's in one place all the time.

Especially with him growing up doing sketch comedy and doing really well at it, might as well just stick with the steady job.

Between Kenan and Kate McKinnon, they're both consistently killing it on SNL, which says a lot about the rest of the cast/show

not sure how reliable it is but quora says new cast members make $7,000 an episode but get raises each year, and they estimate Kenan makes $25k an episode
