environmentalism in general is hard due to the pandemic (all those disposable masks, wipes, etc, yikes) so I guess I'm a bit more understanding of using a private jet to travel if you had the means and really needed to. the article sounded like they were going back to BB to see their kids on the weekend and it's apparently a 10 hour drive, so commercial flights might not be an option due to set restrictions? idk I'm not a Hemsworth stan by any means but in this pandemic if I had to travel by plane and I had the option of using private, I would, because I don't trust other people to wear their masks.

Aren't flights super strict about masks and face covers? And they will be travelling business or luxury class, even in regular flights, so I'm not sure this excuse flies

IDK about Australia, but in the US it seems there's a story every day about someone who refuses to wear their mask, sips water constantly throughout their flight so that they don't have to wear a mask, etc. And they allow people to remove their masks to eat. That air gets recycled through the whole plane. Not even to mention having to go through an airport to catch a commercial flight since private jets usually fly out of smaller airports.

I'm obviously not flying anywhere right now, I don't want to get on a commercial flight so I don't. My job doesn't require it so I don't. I'm just saying if I had the option, private seems much, much safer.
