John Krasinski is lucky for his career and for marrying Emily Blunt. There is no way his basic, milquetoast ass would’ve been successful if he hadn’t landed the office. He’s so boring and bland and devoid of any charm. In a just world, he would’ve ended up back in new england, living the life he was meant to live in the suburbs
I think he still would’ve found his way somehow, he’s very tall and white and Hollywood will allow multiple flops in an attempt make a tall white guy happen (ex: Armie Hammer lol).
I legit can't tell the difference between him and Emily Blunt and that other dude who's divorcing Olivia Wilde. They all look the same. They all act the same. It's like the parallel universe opened up a crack and is giving us a look at other realms of mediocrity.
I didn't mind him until he revealed himself by making that damn Benghazi fanfic bullshit movie. I DID mind the Jim/Pam era because it truly rivaled Ross/Rachel for pure "These fucking people SUCK" energy that, for some reason, a lot of people decided was #goals for what a great relationship should be. And people wonder why divorce rates are so high.
See, I think they're both terrible people/characters. The fact they fed each other's worse impulses and neuroses is very much true to life but should have been seen as a cautionary tale not a romantic example to follow.
I'm not usually irrational in my dislike of people but something about him irritates me on such a profound, visceral level I get immediately angry just hearing his name lmao. He just has the worst face to me and is so overhyped despite being a mediocre actor and a terrible writer/director. I need to get out of this post.
It isn’t irrational bb, it’s perfectly logical and rational, his white mediocrity being celebrated should make everyone viscerally dislike him. I approve! Bask in the ambiance of your dislike of him
