"If I Disappear" sounds interesting!

I read The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones this past weekend and lord, I was not prepared for some of the visceral horror in that book. My jaw actually dropped a few times.

I read section 2 the week of January 6th and it spiked my anxiety through the roof.

I ultimately did not like the book, but only because i just...don't like horror and its genre conventions. I tried, but its just not for me

Slouching Toward Bethlehem and The White Album are probably my favorites aside from The Year of Magical Thinking and a good place to start with her non fiction I think.
