Sabrina Carpenter, 21, took to Instagram to clarify that her new song wasn’t a diss towards Olivia Rodrigo, 17. “I wasn’t bothered by a few lines in a (magnificent) song and wrote a diss track about it," she said. “I was at a tipping point in my life for countless reasons. so i was inspired to do what i usually do to cope, write something that i wish i could have told myself in the past.”

Meanwhile, new IT Pop Girl Olivia Rodrigo remains unbothered and is expected to spend a second week at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week... and will probably continue to do so for the foreseeable future as it continues to climb in radio airplay.
