I Google her and she's married to a new guy and living in Montana and has like...awards from Avon so I retract this comment. She seems to be happy and there's nothing wrong with selling Avon..just surprising
people at the top of the pyramic make money though!
(I am not totally clear on how MLM works when you're actually selling a good product many people like, I think as a salesperson you could be involved without scamming people below you into becoming a seller... in theory.)
So the last time I checked for Avon (pre-2005 apparently) it wasn't. So I guess I retract that too! Back in the day Avon was a way for women to have some financial freedom and the products were ok. It sucks its gone MLM.
Yeah I heard about the MLM structure only recently too and was confused! Like for a minute I was wondering if it was always like this and just didn't know. Disappointing tbh, like it could be nothing more sinister than Tupperware parties but I haven't come across a "good" MLM yet
Exploiting people in your "down-line" is the basis for MLMs so there can be no door ones. Real bummer about Avon. Them, Mary Kay, Tupperware etc were definitely empowering for people back in the day.
there's lots wrong with selling MLM... the only reason she's so successful is because she's a "celebrity" so she automatically has customers and a downline.
I follow her on Instagram. She seems happy and ocassionally throws shade to her shitty ex husband, which I don't blame her. She's really preachy when it comes to her views so I often scroll past her when I glance at her photos
Yep. She throws shade at him a lot. He really will did her dirty apparently. Which given their relationship was portrayed in their TV show together, is really no surprise. She said on IG that he told her he never really loved her
