Michelle Pfeiffer is set as Betty Ford (wife of Gerald Ford and First Lady from 1974 - 1977) in Showtime's "First Lady" series, which is told through the lens of the women in the White House. Betty raised awareness of addiction when she made her battle with alcoholism and substance abuse public. Viola Davis was previously cast as Michelle Obama.
