i used to host karaoke and i would HATE it when somebody would go up and nail the same one or two songs (one person, it was always broadway). i definitely noticed it made other people not want to sign up. it is actually exciting when somebody kills a song, but noticing that it's always the same person doing the same song made me roll my eyes
