we just got vaccines for 65+ and my mom can’t get one because she doesn’t have a license. Her purse was stolen in September and she never replaced it..... 😑😑😑

Yeah I’m confused. There are a few ID options. She can’t figure her life out to get *any* of them going in the last 4 months?

In her defense a lot of the Secretary of State (where you go to get your ID/Licenses) have been closed for a while because of Covid. In IL they expanded the date on expired Ids to June of this year but mileage may vary with other States.

yeah the dmv here (I think i live in the same state as op) has been a huge mess. A lot of people just aren't bothering if they don't have to. Which means when you suddenly have to, you're boned lol.

doesn't the dmv have systems in place to just replace that?

i had to renew my license over the summer and they just used my old picture and sent me an updated one.
