I'm so tired of seeing everyone on vacation.

This shit sucks and I don't want to be home but I rather keep myself and other safe. Especially Flight attendants, resort workers, servers etc.

My ex went down to see his family in VA, then one of his brothers went to Disney World, then his brothers and one of their friends came up here to OH for the weekend.

He didn't understand why I wasn't going to see my family in Florida for Christmas.

It is 100% not mutually exclusive. Individuals have played a role as well.

it's a failing of governments not able to provide enough assistance to companies to get them by. it's a failure of government to not set strict travel restrictions to prevent the massive spread of this disease from travellers. it's a failure of government to not incentivize people to stay home.
