When it is responsible (2022??), I want to go to Tulum for vacation, does anybody have any recommendations on where to stay? (I also, alternatively want to go skiing in Chile if anyone knows where to go there.)

i liked tulum as a day trip from playa del carmen, which is a great base to do many things from

Rosa del viento is nice, there are many nice AirBnB places too, just stay on the beach and not in the town since all the fun stuff is on the beach

valle nevado outside of santiago is good for skiing, but it does depend on the weather moreso than other places i've been.

My cousin, sister and I stayed at the Bahia Principe Grand Tulum and we loved it. We booked a few excursions from there as well

if you were okay not staying in Tulum, I'd suggest the Viceroy Riveria Maya. it's AMAZING, secluded, you have your own pool, plus a larger one. outdoor shower. close to all kinds of things to do. I went at the beginning of 2020 and it was heaven.

I know someone who went to Tulum secretly last month and has the audacity to tweet stuff against people who are currently traveling. Like gurl... yeah those super spreaders in PV are assholes, but you’re one to talk. Lol.

Anyway, I love Tulum and I hope to be back when this is all over.

hotel nueva vida tulum (la nueva vida de ramiro)

i stayed at an eco resort in playa del carmen (https://www.sandos.com/sandos-caracol/eco-all-inclusive-resort) and did Tulum as a day trip - we went snorkeling and to the archaeological site. i loved the resort and Tulum was gorgeous. Wish I had spent more time though.
