Daniel Dumile's (aka MF DOOM) wife announced on instagram that the rapper passed away on October 31st at the age of 49, cause of death has not been shared.
DOOM got his start in the late 80s in the group KMD but after the death of his brother he took an extended break from music. When he returned he adopted his supervillain persona, never being seen without his signature metal mask, frequently changing his stage name and often working on collaborative projects including The Mouse and the Mask with Danger Mouse and the cult classic Madvillainy with Madlib. Most recently he collaborated with Czarface(Inspectah Deck, 7L & Esoteric) on the album Czarface Meets Metal Face in 2018.
