I remember watching Buffy season 3 and repeatedly re-watching certain scenes. Like faith drawing the heart on the window. It took me years to see that she was making a reference to staking. Young me didn't even think about it, to me she was just drawing a heart to Buffy and I was feeling flustered along with Buffy, like I felt like I was getting her. Obviously a "cool friend like that" would have been awesome is what I was thinking. :D
