its such a weird story- both Hardy and Inarritu fully acknowledge the chokehold, went about signing tee shirts and posters of the "incident". I think they both recreated it too for lolz.

I dont even know what to believe with that shit because first Hardy said yeah I knocked Shia out. But then a rumor started that it was actually Shia who clocked him. Shia came out years later and said it was an ~exaggeration, that Hardy and him use to wrestle and playfight. Hardy slipped and then made up the rumor that Shia knocked him out.

Apparently shia was naked and something about wrestling w tom hardy while naked pissed him off so they fought but it was like immediately "let's have a brew!" Afterwards idk. I think he discussed it on hot ones interview or possibly another but laughed about it and didn't seem too serious but who knows
