My jaded ass looked at the tags and thought "RIGHT, when did SUPERNATURAL shock us" but actually I did not even slightly see Castiel's confession coming... though at the time it was kinda underwhelming.

I dropped HTGAWM after I think season 3, so reading about how everything ended was a wild ride. Watching that clip too, damn that age make up on some of them. Nice that Michaela made it to become a judge.

yeah, sadly Michaela ended up being the worst. they ruined her character.

Dropped it when they killed Wes idk which season that was. I was obsessed with s1 but they jumped the shark so quickly

In the finale they reveal that **spoiler alert** that congresswoman that acts all surprised is actually evil and has a power to make people's head explode.

Someone did not want the truth to come out so killed people to stop it. That's Homelander, who is a psychopathic, narcissistic, nationalist analogue of Superman. I won't ruin it, but he was not the one doing the killing. It was pretty terrifying.

Lovecraft Country completely fell off after that first episode. Stopped watching 15 mins into the episode that focused on Ruby becuase I found it gross. Heard the show only got worse. Such a disappointment.

I stopped on the Ruby episode too for the exact same reason. It was truly hard to watch

I liked it a little more than you did. But it was obvious the show was based on a series of short stories, because each episode felt different from the others, sometimes wildly so.

Personally, I think the show was overhyped. As whole, the show is weak but characters/certain episodes and the themes are really good. But it’s not cohesive and it’s at times hard to follow. I didn’t know it was based off an anthology so I was slightly turned off.
