I just used her as an example with this whole Weeknd and Nicki Minaj saying they were snubbed etc. Especially him after he's been all up their asses when he's won before. You keep that same Fiona Apple "This world is shit...fuck the man!" attitude from jump or stfu tbh just because you weren't nominated or won a damn trophy.

Also I fall asleep to "Never Is A Promise" when I'm feeling insanely anxious or just want a dreamy segue from reality into sleepville. That song is like an adult lullaby and I'll forever love it/her.

Yeah while I get the criticism of the Grammys treatment of Black artists.....I also know that Abel is mostly pissed cause HE got snubbed. Had he gotten nominated he wouldn't be saying all this. He can be very picky-choosy as to which things he'll pass or attend.

I don't get too caught up in it but it is very few the artists that will actually talk the talk and walk the walk.
