Idk how accurate she was to the IRL Thatcher but I loved her whenever she was on screen. She was over the top at times but the show itself is about OTT people so it worked imo. At least she was the prime minister and had actual issues to deal with and not worrying about her son learning Welsh or some stupid shit.

I could feel her coldness emanate from the screen in a few scenes (I can't recall the episode but it was one of the latter ones where she meets, and holds her own, with the Queen at Buckingham Palace). I thought Gillian was great.

Omg yeah when the Queen is all "I think you should do A" but Thatch CUTS HER OFF! She was great.

And I legit love the Balmoral Test episode. Shows how weird the royal family is, Thatcher and her husband were hilarious.
