I agree with you. He’s a good actor in the few things I’ve seen him in (G&S, Fat Friends, The Wrong Man’s, that movie with Con O’Neill that I still haven’t remembered the name of since last time we talked about James Corden as an actor). He does appear to be a real life knob and he does also appear to be terrible in The Prom (which I’ve not seen and probably won’t), but he’s not a bad actor overall. It’s just disingenuous to say that.
