Courtney Love comments on Britney Spears' conservatorship

On Courtney Love's most recent instagram post (psa: her post is nsfw as she is partially nude), a Britney Spears fan asked her if she was once almost put under a conservatorship by Lou Taylor, the same woman who helped Spears' father put her in one. Courtney posted a long comment in response of what they've done to her. Courtney claims that an attempt was made in order to control Kurt Cobain's name, likeness, as well as Nirvana's music. While she was able to prevent a conservatorship, she remained a target of Sam Lutfi's for 8 and a half years and claims they almost killed her and her daughter Frances Cobain.

She calls Britney's situation "one of the worst things [she's] ever seen done to another woman", and has tried to approach attorneys on Britney's behalf but they always chickened out. But now she says "there's no point in me sticking my neck out for her now."

Courtney is now in Europe, recovering from serious illness she believes was made worse due to the stress and trauma of having to deal with them. She mentions she has a new manager who "they're all scared of" and finally believes that she and her daughter are safe.

She also says Vanity Fair's recent expose on Britney was a "lazy farce".
