Idris Elba has clearly been in Australia and clearly been with Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi, prompting rumours that his dead character Heimdall will return.
Elba was previously asked about if he would be willing to return and said, “Of course. Listen, Heimdall is essentially part of the god family. So you know, he essentially could be alive. I’m just saying! I’m just putting it out there. The Heimdall character goes way back into, you know, the Thor mythology. And I’m sure there will be an interesting way to bring that alive. Of course I would. Yes.”
While Elba has previously called some of his other MCU appearances "not fun" and just "work," he's praised Thor: Ragnarok as "fun," stating "Taika was great."
