Is evermore better than folklore?

To me, no. Evermore sounds like songs that weren't good enough to make Folklore.

No, I think there are 3 or 4 songs that stand out but the rest blur into one. I don’t think the music or lyrics are strong as Folklore.

Folklore seems more young and hopeful whereas Evermore seems more old and defeated.

i definitely like folklore better but i love folklore 10x more now than i did the first time i listened to it so i’m sure this album is gonna be a grower as well

No, overall evermore is sad soulless songs that aren't that relatable imo. The first 3 songs + 'tolerate it' are great, the rest are just ok.

Evermore is a less immediate record and it experiments more with song structure. I've only listened to it twice so anything is subject to change but imo the highs on the album may be higher than folklore.

I dislike them both, but I can at least remember the tunes of more than 2 Folklore songs. I doubt I'll ever relisten to at least 75% of Evermore's songs.

Yes, and frankly it didn’t take much effort

No way. I probably won't listen to it ever again. No standout tracks besides tolerate it tbh.

I actually like the songs that I’ve heard a lot more so far lmao

gold rush, tis the damn season, champagne problems are all very catchy imo and willow is better than cardigan. Can’t account for anything else as of yet
