Deadline exclusively reports that Issa Rae and La La Anthony are set to produce the horror-comedy, Juju, for Universal Pictures.
The film is based on an original concept by screenwriter Angelica Nwandu (Night Comes On) and the film will be directed by Thembi Banks. This will be the first studio film for Banks, who had previously worked with Rae on Insecure.
Nwandu will also write the script. Deadline reports the plot is being kept under wraps.
