When I try to explain to my friends/relatives that John Lennon was problematic as fuck and not the legendary peaceful icon the media think he was, I get dragged to hell... “how dare you, he’s a music legend, an icon, he revolutionised music, shameful of you to put this man down...” Or “ok but he’s such a talented musician...”
