I was just thinking this. Hiring him is a surefire way to get people to not want to watch it.

Mr Shu was always the absolute cringiest thing on the show with so many endless cringe moments.

to be fair, he does have a broadway background since he originated the role of link in hairspray, but it does seem odd now that he hasnt done anything since glee. that being said i hate him and wish him absolutely no success

Hey, don't forget about his guest starring role as Jo's abusive husband in Grey's Anatomy for one episode. His acting range seems to be varying degrees of icky characters.
