That's sweet of Fernanda, but it was hers. Goop and that Woody Allen apologist can f off.

This is all gonna come full circle. Cate will be asked who she thought should’ve won, she’ll say Emily Watson. Then Watson will be asked and she’ll say Meryl Streep. Then Streep will say Goop.

Was it the 1st or 2nd Elizabeth movie where Eric Cantona would randomly pop up? That shit made me laugh everytime.

Ugh! Yes, Meryl will say Goop cuz she will be supportive. Also, didn't she get one of her Oscars with the Weinstein campaign/model?

I know the Oscars love to kiss Meryl's ass which is why i don't understand why she felt the need to associate with him.

Her third Oscar was for The Iron Lady, so yup to the Meryl question.

O man, I forgot that Emily had been nominated that year. She was amazing, too. Literally any of them should have won over Goop. :(

OMG, now i need Cate to come in and say she would have voted for Emily Watson and then have Emily say she would have voted for Streep and then Streep say she would have voted for Montenegro.

And none for Gwyneth. Thanks!

Honestly I'm taking this to mean that anybody else that wasn't Gwyneth paltrow should've won this award. What was going on that year?

Weinstein started his all out campaign strategy, he then successfully used it numerous times afterwards.

I believe that YouTube channel BeKindRewind did a video going into a ton of detail on the matter.
