New Godfather III cut has converted Diane Keaton into a fan

Godfather trilogy star Diane Keaton, like most others, admits she wasn't a fan of Part III: “I didn’t. I kind of just dismissed it and thought, ‘oh well.'”
But after seeing the newly re-edited version that director Francis Ford Coppola has created, Diane has changed her outlook on the film completely: “It was one of the best moments of my life to watch it. To me it was a dream come true. I saw the movie in a completely different light."
Diane also thinks people will rethink the performance of Sofia Coppola, calling her "fantastic." Sofia's performance has been trashed since release and earned her a Razzie for Worst Supporting Actress.
Newly titled "The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone," this new cut of the film has a completely different beginning and ending, shuffles around lots of scenes inbetween and is about 10 minutes shorter. Francis Ford Coppola considers this an epilogue rather than a third installment as was his original intention. This comes a year after Coppola released brand-new cuts of Apocalypse Now and The Cotton Club.
Coda will have a theater release on December 4 before becoming available for home media on December 8.
