Okay, so I mostly posted this because I am now free to google and twitter search The Americans and everyone on it without fear of spoilers, and I saw this was recent. I don't love the beard, tbh, but some of the pics are cool anyway.

I absolutely loved the show, and though S5 was a bit of a drag, S6 was as amazing as everyone said and I loved the finale! So great when a show sticks the landing.

Some spoiler-y thoughts:

[Spoiler (click to open)]- I always knew the show was gonna end like that, with Stan finding out even though I didn't want him to, but it was so well done. And now, having watched the episode, I get why Matthew Rhys got the Emmy (that garage speech!), but am bitter for Keri Russell because she was so consistently great. Stan really grew on me over the seasons, too.
- I hoped from the jump that they'd leave Henry behind, but when they saw Paige on the train platform, I gasped!! Honestly, good for her - she didn't really do anything wrong anyway, why should she have to go to Russia?
- I went from not liking Oleg at all to being so bitter that the last we see of him is in a jail cell. I mean, I get it, he knew what he was getting into, but I loved him and his S6 beard.

Anyway, thank you guys for recommending the show so much - it was a wild ride!

I like Perry Mason and am glad they're doing a S2, but I wanna know what Keri's doing next!

Yay for The Americans! Such a fantastic show. It is forever a crime that Keri didn't win an Emmy, and even moreso that the show itself was only even nominated for Best Drama once and never won, when it was better than most Best Drama nominees for its whole run.

Yes, I too was surprised by how much I grew to love Oleg, so many great characters on this show.

Truly!! Gabriel, Martha, Claudia, Arkady, Nina... they were really quite good at giving the side characters depth and purpose.

I know the GG isn't an Emmy but I'm glad the show at least got that and for their last season, it showed how much hype and buzz that season had !

Keri was consistently perfect she should’ve won an Emmy
As a huge fan of the show I agree that season 5 is my least fave. But season 6 made up for it.

Lmao, everyone was was like that with Oleg, i never expected to like him as much as I did buy he became my fav character after Liz and Philip, also i loved Arkady #TeamRezidentura

I'm glad you liked the show and yay, more people for the "Keri Russell was robbed blind" squad ! I will never forgive the Emmy's for that .

Perry Mason was better than I expected, i can't wait for the second season , i think Keri is going to make tv, but nothing much is known .

The series finale is probably one of the best series finales ever.
I agree about Keri Russell!! Matthew Rhys was incredible but she was just so good, I’m so mad she was never rewarded. And yes yes to Oleg, I hated him at the beginning but by the end he was one of my favourite characters and I was so invested in him.
