Nah. I love "Euphoria," but the season one finale is a letdown compared to the episodes that came before it.

that musical number at the end was bizarre and didn’t work at all

"Shut the Door. Have a Seat." from Mad Men (the third season finale) is my holy grail of perfect TV episodes.

Other candidates:

"Tomorrow Blues" from Friday Night Lights

"They Shoot Gilmores, Don't They" from Gilmore Girls

"Dinner Party" from The Office

"Shut the Door. Have a Seat." is so perfect that nothing really could compare to it in the show. Mad Men absolutely peaked there and then spent every other season only occasionally stumbling into greatness.

I like to think all the awards that ASP won for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are belated awards for “They Shoot Gilmores, Don’t They?”

it's number 37 on this list but this episode of TWW

The whole episode is iconic. The doors blowing open in the Oval Office. Young Mrs. Landingham calling Jed out on being afraid of his father. Lawrence O'Donnell playing Papa Bartlet. Charlie taking off his coat when he saw the President out in the rain in just his suit. Leo's "Watch this." It's just such a good episode of television.

Retrospectively I think so much of TWW is dumb and annoying but I looooooove this episode always
