I was sorta 'ehhhh' on the IT films, but Sophia Lillis was great in them imo.

The second movie felt especially bloated and I'll forever be bitter about Ben getting Mike's backstory for no reason! And yeah, they relied on jumpscares way too much.

Yes someone else who dislikes these films! The first one was just repetitive scenes that weren’t scary in the least and the second one was terrible!!! That scene in the Chinese restaurant in the beginning set the tone for the rest of that awful movie

These movies' saving grace is the young cast. And the director knows that because he stayed bringing them back with that terrible CGI de-aging in the horribly boring second movie.
