Being a kickass doctor is fun and all but how did Cristina deal with the multiple men in her life doing ha wrong because THAT’S a lesson I can jive with 😭

Ditched them because they held her back.

Top Cristina-isms for me:

"Being aware of your crap and actually overcoming your crap are two totally different things."

and

"Don't let what he wants eclipse what you need. He's very dreamy but he's not the sun, you are." Just going to tattoo that one on my body so every time a straight girl talks to me I will just tell her to look at the tattoo and internalize it.

I love Cristina Yang so much. It was so important to me to see a woman on television who did not want kids and did not have them. So often, writers end up writing in pregnancy storylines for the drama or whatever, but god it is so frustrating to see. People are absolutely allowed to change their minds on kids, but Yang was one of the few I saw on TV who stuck to her guns, even when it cost her a relationship.

I loved her more for having an abortion, for not letting a man convince her she should settle. IT drove me nuts that Owen not only was an asshole about the whole thing, but he fundamentally didn't understand who she was.

I was so upset when the pregnancy storyline first came around and Owen was excited. I really thought they were going to ruin her character development and have her keep the baby to appease him, because it wouldn't be the first time I've seen that happen. Owen was such a monumentally shitty character all around once you get to know him. I don't know if he is still around (I stopped watching around the time Cristina left), but if he is, I hope he's miserable.

I stopped watching after Shonda left and Krista Vernoff immediately fired JCap and Sarah Drew but I believe he is still on the show, still being a dickwad.

There are few characters I've ever hated as much as Owen Hunt.

Why is the voiceover so slow? Is it to appeal to a more general audience? It honestly sounds like they slowed down the tempo in post.

I loved Christina and all of her flaws.

I stopped watching after she left. She was the only thing that made Meredith tolerable.

I also stopped watching after she left because she was the most interesting character on the show.
