This show was umm something. The concept was neat--a mockumentary about finding the Sanderson Sisters--but the execution was sad. It read like they ad-libbed everything, could they seriously not get anyone to write a script?? Or like. Have the people doing each segment get a script approved? Meryl Streep's segment was genuinely painful to watch, and what was the point of having Jennifer Hudson just randomly show up, snatch a microphone, and sing And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going?

The Sanderson parts were fine. I was surprised that Sarah Jessica Parker could still do the voice! I Put a Spell On You was sung in front of a green screen in a studio with just those three singing, I think it came out great considering all that.

Also, man!Binx will haunt my nightmares.

The juxtaposition of the man!cat in front of his shelf of board games was a true winner in my book. Idk why it cracked me up so much but it was one of my favorite parts.
